From Jurassic World Dominion.
In the years since the destruction of the Jurassic World amusement park and the subsequent escape of the dinosaurs, the world has fallen into chaos. To combat the growing dinosaur dangers, the governments of the world have allowed the company Biosyn to capture and relocate the dinosaurs to their secure nature preserve. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen (Chris Pratt) have been watching over Maisie (Isabella Sermon) at their quiet home in the wilderness. Because Maisie is the only successful human clone created without the health issues of the woman who cloned her, Maisie has become the desire of scientists all over the world. When Blue the Raptor’s baby is captured in the woods near their home, the smugglers recognize Maisie and kidnap her as well. Claire and Owen reach out for help to Owen’s former assistant raptor trainer, Barry (Omar Sy), who has transitioned to tracking dinosaur sales on the black market. Barry informs Claire and Owen that they’ve been tracking a big upcoming sale between a smuggler and a dealer (Dichen Lachman) for an unknown buyer. However, when the arrest goes terribly wrong Owen and Claire are left with no choice but to trust a pilot named Kayla (DeWanda Wise) who offers to fly them to Biosyn where Maisie is being held. Investigating a growing plague of giant grasshoppers, Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) reaches out to her old friend, Alan Grant (Sam Neill), for help proving that Biosyn is behind the genetically-modification insects. The pair travels to Biosyn with an invitation from chaos theorist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) who frequently gives lectures for Biosyn employees. When they arrive, Ellie and Alan are greeted by Biosyn founder Lewis Dodgson (Campbell Scott) and assigned Dodgson’s assistant, Ramsay (Mamoudou Athie), as a personal guide. As Ellie and Alan search for proof of Biosyn’s evil, they runs into Maisie who is attempting to escape the facility. To save Maisie, Claire, Owen, and Kayla must face off against giant predators as the forest surrounding Biosyn. When Dodgson realizes his company is about to be exposed, he quickly tries to cover it up, but his rash decision will change the world forever.
As a blending of both the Jurassic World and Jurassic Park trilogies, this final installment in the series relaunch is impressive and non-stop. While the film is long, the action, humor, and impressive special effects are constants throughout the story. Jurassic World Dominion will keep fans on the edge of their seat from start to finish.
