From Uncharted.
Ever since his brother Sam (Rudy Pankow) ran away to search for treasure and avoid losing his freedom to the police, young Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) has been living on his own, operating as a pickpocket to get by. As kids, the Drake brothers were interested in treasures and adventurers, but none so much as Ferdinand Magellan and the legend of his hidden treasure. When a man named Sully (Mark Wahlberg) shows up offering Nathan a job helping to steal one of the legendary keys needed to find Magellan’s treasure, Nathan is reluctant to join Sully until Sully mentions that he’s worked with Sam in the past. Unable to ignore the possibility of finding the iconic treasure and his long-silent brother, Nathan agrees to help Sully. When Nathan and Sully arrive at the auction house where the key is being held, Nathan quickly meets Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), a descendant of the financiers of Magellan’s voyage that believes the treasure is his birthright, as well as Braddock (Tati Gabrielle), the merciless treasure hunter Moncada has hired to help find the treasure. As Nathan and Sully launch their plan to steal the key, they face several blunders and challenges, but manage to steal the key and head off to meet up with Sully’s un-trusting former partner, Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali), who has the other key needed to follow Magellan’s mystery. While Nathan helps both Sully and Chloe trust each other enough to work together, his lifelong interest in Magellan coupled with Sam’s cryptic old postcards also make him brilliant at solving the clues left behind by Magellan’s crew. Plagued by danger at every turn, Nathan soon finds himself traveling the globe, unsure of who he can trust in this high-stakes treasure hunt.
