From The 355.
When Luis (Édgar Ramírez), a member of a Colombian SWAT team takes an untraceable hacker’s drive in the aftermath of a double-cross between a drug lord and his wealthy buyer (Jason Flemyng), he sets off mayhem he never could have imagined. Luis reaches out to the CIA to hand over the drive, so Mace (Jessica Chastain) and her partner, Nick (Sebastian Stan), are sent to Paris to make the pick up. However, when their operation is sabotaged by a German spy named Marie (Diane Kruger), Mace finds herself chasing after Marie while Nick tries to stop the fleeing-with-the-drive Luis. Marie is barely able to escape Mace, but when Mace returns to the safe house, she learns from her boss, Marks (John Douglas Thompson), that Nick was cornered and killed by the drive’s original buyer. Marks tells Mace that he can’t officially assign her, but could look the other way if she went rogue to track down Nick’s murderer, so she reaches out to her old MI6 ally, Khadija (Lupita Nyong’o). Meanwhile, the Columbia government has sent therapist Graciela (Penélope Cruz) to convince Luis to give the drive to them instead of another country. When the drive is stolen by a Colombian traitor, Mace and Khadija soon find themselves working with Marie and Graciela to reclaim the drive before it falls into the wrong hands. The four uneasy allies find themselves on a global journey full of deadly betrayals that leads them to China, where Chinese agent Sheng (Bingbing Fan) seems to know more about those seeking the drive than anyone else. As the women seek out the drive, it quickly becomes evident that all the evil of the world want it, and they are the only ones who can find it in time.
