From No Time to Die.
Five years ago, after nearly falling into a deadly tap by the evil organization Spectre, James Bond (Daniel Craig) has retired from MI6 and left Madeleine (Léa Seydoux) behind for betraying him to Spectre. James has been enjoying retirement, but when CIA agent Felix (Jeffrey Wright) and a new, young agent (Billy Magnussen) ask James for help rescuing Dr. Obruchev (David Dencik), a kidnapped scientist, he reluctantly agrees to consider it. However, when Nomi (Lashana Lynch), the newly-appointed 007 agent tells James to stay out of her way when she rescues Obruchev, it pushes him to head to Cuba after the scientist for himself. Arriving for the quick rescue mission, James connects with one of Felix’s contacts (Ana de Armas), but while rescuing Obruchev they witness a party full of Spectre members die. After losing Obruchev again in a deadly double cross, James heads to London to confront M (Ralph Fiennes) and Tanner (Rory Kinnear) about Obruchev’s dangerous research. While M shuts James out, Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) quietly brings James to see MI6’s tech genius Q (Ben Whishaw) to decode the only piece of information James could get. James and his allies learn that Obuchev has weaponized nanobots to kill anyone with DNA-based programming. James gets permission from MI6 to assist on this mission and goes to see the only surviving Spectre member and leader, Blofeld (Christoph Waltz), for information, but besides being forced to face psychiatrist Madeleine, he’s just left with more questions. Going to apologize to Madeleine for pushing her away, James soon realizes that a weapons manufacturer (Rami Malek) with a painful past is connected to everything for an unknown, but deadly reason and James past threatens to destroy him.
The 25th film in the James Bond franchise is also Craig’s fifth and final role as the lead character. The action is impressive and non-stop, especially when paired with the talented cast and many global settings. No Time to Die manages to bring both friends and ghosts back from the previous movies in a captivating action-packed addition to the 007 series.
