The town of Adventure Bay has long been kept safe by the talking puppy rescuers known as the PAW Patrol. With the help of their human leader Ryder (Will Brisbin), Chase (Iain Armitage) the police dog, Marshall (Kingsley Marshall) the fire dog, Skye (Lilly Bartlam) the pilot dog, Rubble (Keegan Hedley) the construction dog, Rocky (Callum Shoniker) the recycling dog, and Zuma (Shayle Simons) the water rescue dog help the citizens of Adventure Bay stay safe and out of trouble. However, when stray dog Liberty (Marcia Martin) warns Ryder and the pups that the evil, cat-loving Humdinger (Ron Pardo) has sneakily gotten himself elected mayor of the nearby Adventure City, PAW Patrol heads to their city headquarters to prepare for the problems they know will soon arrive. With a little extra enforcement from his henchmen, Butch (Randall Park) and Ruben (Dax Shepard), Humdinger outlaws dogs from the city and begins making dangerous changes in an attempt to make people like him. One of Humdinger’s most bold plans includes confiscating the Cloud Catcher machine from a local scientist (Yara Shahidi) in order to keep rain from ruining his plans, then setting the machine free to collect clouds non-stop. As Liberty helps guide the pups around the city to each new catastrophe that Humdinger creates, Chase struggles with his painful past as an abandoned puppy in the city. Only by working together like never before can Ryder and the pups save Adventure City before Humdinger destroys it all.

This big screen adaptation of the popular children’s show features all the elements, characters, and fun that have made the series such a success with families. The voice cast impressively leads through the film’s action with the help of a fun soundtrack and bright animation.
