“He’s on the way.”

From F9.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is living the quiet life with his wife, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), and young son, but they are quickly pulled back into action when they receive a S.O.S. message from Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell). Letty and Dom head to South America with fast-talking Roman (Tyrese Gibson), brilliant Tej (Ludacris), and hacker Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) to track down Nobody’s crashed plane. The group is able to find the plane and half of a mysterious device, but Nobody and his prisoner–the evil hacker, Cipher (Charlize Theron)–have already been taken. Attacked by local military, the group flees and are soon attacked by Dom’s estranged younger brother, Jakob (John Cena), who steals the device. Dom hasn’t seen Jakob since young Dom (Vinnie Bennett) sent his younger brother (Finn Cole) away because of his involvement in their father’s (JD Pardo) tragic death. Learning that Jakob is back, Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) joins Dom’s team to stop their brother from carrying out a dangerous plan. Dom’s team soon learns that Jakob and his millionaire backer (Thue Ersted Rasmussen) has captured Cipher and are using her to find the other two parts of the global-system-control device. Dom reaches out to an old ally (Helen Mirren) and sends Tej and Roman to old friends Sean (Lucas Black) and Twiggy (Bow Wow) for vehicles. Meanwhile, Mia and Letty head to Tokyo to follow a clue and they find both Elle (Anna Sawai), who is intricately connected to the device, and old friend Han (Sung Kang) that was supposedly murdered years ago. When they learn that Jakob’s in London, the team tries to locate the rogue Toretto and his private army before they can steal another device part, but Dom’s team is at a dangerous disadvantage. As they learn more about Jakob’s plan, Dom realizes that only way to move forward is to avoid the mistakes of the past.
