From Spies in Disguise.
Lance Sterling (Will Smith) is a spy that loves using his skills and fancy technology to stop bad guys, but he really loves that everyone knows his name. However, when he goes to retrieve the stolen M9 Assassin Drone from arms dealer Kimora (Masi Oka), things go wrong when Lance defies the orders of his Director (Reba McEntire) to wait for backup. In an effort to steal the drone from the just-arrived buyer, Killian (Ben Mendelsohn) a man with a robot arm and a grudge for Lance and the Agency. Lance is almost unable to complete his mission when one of his gadgets is a glitter bomb; looking to yell at the science guy responsible for the switch, he meets Walter (Tom Holland), the young scientist/inventor that just wants to keep people safe. Walter tells him about his new bio-genetic concealment technology, but Lance wants nothing to do with Walter’s less-lethal ideas. However, when a security video surfaces of a Lance with a robot hand stealing the now-missing-again M9 Assassin, Marcy (Rashida Jones) from Internal Affairs arrives with her tech assistants Eyes (Karen Gillan) and Ears (DJ Khaled) to arrest Lance. With nowhere to turn, Lance goes to see Walter about his technology and accidentally drinks it all, turning himself into a talking pigeon. While Walter works on the antidote, he goes with Lance on his search for Killian, the missing drone, and the proof that will clear his name. Initially frustrated with the nerdy Walter and his anonymity as a pigeon, Lance discovers that it might be the only way to solve this case.
