From The Secret Life of Pets 2.
Max (Patton Oswalt) and Duke (Eric Stonestreet) are your typical city dogs that love their owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper). Max’s life is forever changed when Katie marries Chuck (Pete Holmes) and the two have a baby named Liam; Max looks out for Liam, trying to keep him safe from the dangers of New York City, even if it stresses Max out… a lot. When their owners announce that they’re taking a family trip in the car, Max and Duke are ecstatic, but when they arrive on a farm, Max’s anxiety skyrockets at the thought of protecting Liam in this unfamiliar setting. As the rest of the family enjoy the farm, the terrified Max meets the rough farm dog Rooster (Harrison Ford) who tries to teach Max what it means to be brave, even when he doesn’t feel like it. Meanwhile back in the city, a new dog, Daisy (Tiffany Haddish), asks Snowball (Kevin Hart) for help rescuing a tiger cub from an evil circus leader, Sergei (Nick Kroll). Things quickly become dangerous for the rescuers as they try to keep the tiger safe from Sergei’s pack of wolves that’s tracking them through the city. Gidget (Jenny Slate) also has trouble when she loses Max’s favorite toy in the downstairs apartment of an old lady and her countless cats. So Gidget, Mel (Bobby Moynihan), and Buddy (Hannibal Buress) seek help from Chloe (Lake Bell) to teach Gidget how to be a cat so she can get Max’s toy back before it’s too late. When they return home, it’ll take everything Max has to be able to work together with his friends to make sure that each story has a happy ending.
