“A lot of things.”

From Peter Rabbit.

Peter Rabbit (James Corden) and his sisters Flopsy (Margot Robbie), Mopsy (Elizabeth Debicki), and Cottontail (Daisy Ridley), along with cousin Benjamin Bunny (Colin Moody) enjoy nothing more than sneaking into Old Mr. McGregor’s (Sam Neill) garden for some delicious vegetables.  When McGregor dies, Peter and the other animals take over the house and the garden ready to live the unhindered life of luxery, and things go wonderful… until McGregor’s control-freak-nature-hating nephew, Thomas (Domhnall Gleeson) inherits the estate and arrives to clean everything up before selling the place.  As with the previous Mr. McGregor, one of the only things standing between the Peter’s mischevious ways and becoming McGregor’s dinner, is their sweet artist neighbor, Bea (Rose Byrne).  She is always there to step in to defend the rabbits’ actions when it comes to garden vegetables, but everything quickly falls apart for Peter and his family when Bea begins to fall in love with Thomas.  Peter knows that Bea doesn’t see what Thomas is really like, so thus begins the epic struggle between bunny and McGregor.  Thomas and Peter continually try to one-up each other in their attempts to get the other one out of their life, with crazy and hilarious results.

The voice acting is spot-on with each actor bringing each character to life; each voice is unique and the perfect blend of cuteness, personality, and spunk.  Byrne and Gleeson do a strong job of connecting the CGI characters to the real world.  The humor is non-stop from start to finish, both in dialog and action; the movie is built on a humor that is fun for adults, but it is not inappropriate for young viewers, either.  The computer graphics are incredibly life-like and make it almost impossible to not view Peter and his family as real animals.  This movie will have you laughing the entire time with jokes and fourth-wall breaks that are simple, yet brilliant!
